there goes...
god!!! again...why things are so difficult for me recently...i've lost all the data kept in my pendrive including my complete research paper!!!! what else can i say? it really is such a shock!!! i've given my all to make it done and now all of a sudden it's not there!!! vanished!!!! now, what happened really is appalling and i'm thinking wether i can consider it as Gothic...hahahaha... but then i'm lucky enough to had it be printed in the first place. all i have to do now is to re-type it again as what i've got is the copy before the corrections were made... hm...every cloud has a silver lining, dont' they?

i feeel gooooddddddd.....i feeeeeeeeeeel nice....lalalala...great...i've got almost all of my work done right now...and guess what??? My supervisor did like the topic which i proposed to dicuss in my paper...perhaps what i need at the moment is more reading so that i can make it even better... she had made some suggestions which i should take note and make the corrections... i'm thinking of handing another draft in order to make sure my final product will meet with the requirement stated in the outline...better start now... =)

changed!
yup! this is it...no more fairy tales...fables or whatsoever! now...i've changed my mind and what i'm going to do is totally different from the topic which i think that i might be interested to deal on...guess what? i'm going to write about GOTHIC....yes!!! GOTHIC! the elemnt of GOTHIC in the novels Wuthering Heights and The Scarlet Letter...wouldn't it be nice? hehehe...it is nice because i've even had my first draft done...and tomorrow, i'm going to meet Dr. Noreen and have her say upon my work...i really am into this topic and i do think that this is mind-blowing enough for me...last night, i've borrowed some books regarding this topic and seriously i found that it is worth working on...at first, i'm thinking of writing about 'vampires' in the famous work, 'Dracula'....there are so many things to talk about but then i'm not pretty sure whether it can be used...perhaps, the novels that i've chosen would be just nice for my assignment...i'll try to give my best shot!

again...why is this happening...
looks like things are not quite easy for me...i've tried to work my idea out...i mean, the research paper...but then, as always,it is easier said than done...i just couldn't make any focus about the topic in which i'll be discussing on...fairy tales...God!!!!! what should i do? at first, i'm planning to focus on the plot of the story...i can see that there are many similarities in the plot of a fairy tales...always, there'll be the princess as protagonist...then we have the hero prince...then the villain...and yes! the time setting...it is always 'once upon a time..'not the reeal time i guess...and believe it, almost all of it ends with 'they live happily ever after...' i didn't say all, but ALMOST all... but how i would i make it into words? it really is difficult and doesn't seems to be as simple as i think it would be...hmmm....do i have to change my topic?

research paper in the making...
this time around, i'm trying to get my first draft done in order to submit it to Dr. Noreen. ..i went to the main library and read some research and journals upon the topic of children literature and fairy tales...i didn't know that there are actually studies to see the effectiveness of that particular element or genre in class...i also learnt that there are actually lots of things to be learnt about fairy tales rather than only reading it as our extensive reading...it is indeed very interesting...besides, i've found about four books which i think would do a big help for me in completeing my work...the two most appealing books are the compilaton of Hans Christien Andersen and Brother Grimm's work... it is really good to have all the collection in a book and have a chance to read it in a go...well, looks like i've already make myself occupied this weekend... =)

i still remember the day i first met my supervisor before the break. i was relieved that Dr. Noreen is my supervisor. i like the way she teach really and personally, i adore they way she tried very hard to make sure that her students understand what is being taught and now i'm getting to see her more often than before...she said that it would be great if we can do something different that can be very useful one day instead of pursuing a same old research topic which had been done by others before. she even give suggestion to trigger our thinking. i'm quite interested because she's looking forward to assist us. i hope that i could do something different...but relevant of course!

children literature...young adult literature...fables...fairy tales...hm, i'm kind of interested on these topics. how could i manipulate it to be a very good presentation for my research paper then? previously during my visit to a book shop, i found a very nice book which compiled various fairy tales and fables for the use in teaching children literature. i do feel that childre's literature plays a vital role in crafting a strong basis of literature liking among the students. if interesting piece of work such as the fables and fairy tales were used, there is a possible chance that the students interest in literature will increase. but how do we implement it in our educational system then? hm...i wonder...
