today, i suddenly felt that wasting time trying to mend things which seems just so isn't right for me is not worth at all...therefore, i'm going to change my idea and stand on working with the novel 'Fasting,Feasting' and try to deal with something else. God! What went wrong in me? I made too much mistakes in a short time. And now at this very moment, I just could not think what and how to construct a thesis statement anymore. I need a break..

Gosh! My thesis statement was rejected. I was quite frustrated but then it's a learning process. There must be a reason why my tutor refused to accept what I have written. But then, I won't give up and I'll try to give my best shot to come up with a good and acceptable argument. Go girl...!!!

There...I've thought of one thesis statement that I would love to show to Ms Siti for her opinion. 'WOMEN FACED GREATER CHALLENGES RATHER THAN MEN IN FASTING,FEASTING BY ANITA DESAI'. Hm, I think that there is a lot to be written about this argument. Some people may be thinking that the women in Fasting,Feasting faced greater complexities in their lives but some may not. Wouldn't it then be an argument? Hm, I'll see what Ms Siti will have to say about this later. =)

first task...

Today, we were assigned with the first task of this course which is writing a position paper. What is a position paper? After attending the lecture, I began to get the overview of what really is a position paper. Hm, it's kind of simple. Develop a thesis statement and provide with supporting details. I have to make sure that the presentation of my arguments are very well-connected. All of a sudden, I get the idea of writing an argument of the novelFasting,Feasting by Anita Desai. Hm, that would be very interesting. Better get started now... =)

It's has been long since I got class with Dr. Edwin and this time around I've registered for two courses with him. Well, for this course, I don't have the clear picture of what we are up to. But the, I think it must be something new and interesting. I'm looking forward to attend his class and I'm really hoping that this course will offer me something useful in guiding or assisting me to be a better learner and teacher in future. Hopefully...
